How to Use an Elevator Without Stopping
I recently learned this great little trick that works on every elevator and is typically used by firefighters/police (and impatient people like myself) to get to a floor as quickly as possible:
Hold CLOSE door button until doors close. Keep holding.
Select floor and do not let go of the number and close door buttons until the elevator starts to move.
