WANTED: Tips for traveling through Northern Italy! Andrew and I have semi-finalized our summer trip to Europe! It took some comprising and some serious plane, train, and rental car research, but here’s what we’ve come up with: Day 1-8: Venice/Florence/Tuscany Day 9-14: Southern France (Wedding)/Loire Valley/Paris That being said, does anyone have any recommendations for Italy, i.e., where to stay? where to eat? sites to see? places to avoid?   2. imeanduh answered: you NEED to go to the cinque terre. it’s the italian riviera. also i LOVED siena in tuscany. and cortona.

  4. growingoldnotgrowingup answered: If you can swing it, you have to go to Cinque Terre! When I traveled to Europe it was by far my favorite/the most beautiful place we visited.

  6. ignitestrength answered: Ah! Of course gelato..Florence was the best for me for this. Also if you’re not claustrophobic , climb the Duomo in Florence. Gorgeous views.
  7. ooola-la answered: OMG so jealous. I lived in Italy for a semester & it’s amazing. Eat: pizza, gnocchi, gelato. Florence is amazing eat at Trattoria Dante!
