Kate and I’s Bastille Day dinner party on Tuesday was definitely a success. We had so much yummy French food and wine and our guests were great. I got so lucky - my French host brother Maxence from Paris happened to be visiting DC this very week so he was able to come and catch up. Max is the cutest little 19-year-old Frenchie you’ve ever seen. Plus I had the chance to reconnect with some friends from Rennes who I haven’t seen in years. Definitely a success. (the picture is of pretty crappy quality - sorry about that)
